Here's some things about me

I first began my fitness journey when I started studying my
Bachelor of Economics in UCD. I slowly started to venture into the campus gym, which was a very scary place at first. Luckily, I made some friends who showed me the ropes, and I well and truly caught ‘the bug’ – I was addicted.
Over the years, resistance training in particular has helped me through a lot – physically, mentally and emotionally. It has given me a great outlet for stress, a boost in body confidence and a significant increase in self-discipline and motivation.
After my studies, I was determined to build a corporate career. However, in 2020 – the beginning of the pandemic – working from home really made me question what would fulfil me long-term. Should I stick with the ‘sensible’, ‘stable’ career or follow my passion? So, I decided to start a personal training course with Litton Lane Training, and I haven’t looked back since. I became ITEC qualified in Personal Training, Fitness Instruction, Nutrition and Group Instruction. I started working two evenings a week teaching classes in DCU, along with a full-time recruitment role. Finally at the end of 2021 I decided to take the risk and make the move to go full-time into the fitness industry. I now teach a wide variety of classes in DCU gym as part of their fitness team, along with coaching some outdoor classes with Fit For 45 in Lucan Ashbourne. Not forgetting also working closely with my 1:1 Personal Training clientele throughout the week.
My aim is to help others reach their peak, whether that is physically, mentally, or emotionally – fitness can improve so many aspects of our lives, it is incredible.
